28 May 2013: Round table discussion with with Professor Henry Hansmann (Yale Law School, USA) - An American Perspective on Corporate Governance.
Henry Hansmann is the Oscar M. Ruebhausen Professor of Law at Yale Law School (USA) and the holder of the Optiver Holding visiting professorship at the Amsterdam Center for Law & Economics (ACLE) at the University of Amsterdam.
He is author of The Ownership of Enterprise (Cambridge MA: Harvard University Press, 1996) and fellow-author of The Anatomy of Corporate Law: A Functional and Comparative Analysis (New York: Oxford University Press, 2004).
Professor Hansmann will discuss the issues in Corporate Governance that are currently getting attention in the USA, the pros and cons of different ownership structures, and expectations regarding future developments in Corporate Governance.
